   TODAY’S  MENU                                  ~MENU SUBJECT TO CHANGE~            MONDAY’S MENU

1.        The 8^th Grade is first to lunch this week. CH

3.       Juniors & Seniors: The deadline to register for the final ACT test session in June is today. See Mr. Thomas for a registration packet.

4.       Speech students, sometime between now and Tuesday, May 13, you need to sign up for a practice time with Mrs. Haven or Ms. Pistulka to rehearse your speech selection in order to refresh your memory and get your performance back into polished condition.

5.       If there is a student who is looking for an opportunity to serve community service hours, contact Laurie Ourada for information.

6.       This week is Nurse’s Appreciation Week. We are very fortunate to have Mavis here in our school. When you see her, please remember to thank her for everything she does.

7.       May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week, Tuesday being National Teachers Day. Your efforts at our school each day help students grow in every way. We’re grateful we can count on you to make a difference in all you do.

8.       Senior song rehearsal during homeroom every day from now on, until we feel we're ready. 

9.       You can pick up a sign up sheet for Driver’s Training either with Community Ed or at the office.

10.    It’s time to get your Football Clothing orders placed! Pick up an order form from Mr. Kemp! Orders must be in by May 16^th.

11.     13s  - JO Volleyball:  There will be a meeting for you and your parents on next Wednesday evening (May 14th) at 5:30pm...meet in the multi-purpose room (you may move to somewhere else, but meet there first!)!

12.    Speech students, we are planning on holding the speech banquet on Wednesday, May 14 of next week with the meal starting at 6:00.  If you have any conflicts with that date, please notify Ms. Pistulka or Mrs. Haven right away.  There will be a sign-up list in Ms. Pistulka's room for the food item that your family would like to bring.

13.    All library materials are due May 15th.  If you are one of those hard-working students whose teachers won't let you quit reading by the 15th, PLEASE talk to Mrs. Guenigsman or Ms Hamilton, and we will cheerfully extend your check-out time.  If your books are sitting in your locker, now is the time to dig them out and bring them back.  Please do not wait until check-out time the last day of school! CH

14.    The FFA banquet is Tuesday, May 13 at 7 pm in the Multi-purpose room. Everyone is invited.

15.    JO VOLLEYBALL schedule for this week (May 5-11):

16s - Practice on Saturday, 5/10 from 10:00-11:30am

      - Tourney on Sunday, 5/11 at Tracy

15s - Practice on Wednesday, 5/7 from 6:30-8:00pm

      - Tourney on Saturday, 5/10 at Westbrook

13s - Practice on Wednesday, 5/7 from 5:30-7:00pm
