It’s time to start gathering senior portraits. Those of you
who have them, please give one copy to Mr
Fanaselle; if you haven’t ordered them yet, it’s time to get going.
- MN WEST
SCHWAN FOOD CO. SCHOLARSHIP: Two $1000 scholarships for each of the 5
MNWEST campuses; must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; first time college
student; accepted and enrolled full-time at a MNWest
campus. See Mr. Thomas for
application blank and further details.
- There will
be a baseball meeting in Coach Olson’s room for grades 7-12 today (March
10th) during homeroom.
- March is
Nutrition Month, please take time this week to
let our cooks know how much we appreciate everything they do for us.
- Paige P.
and Shawna R.- We are
waiting for your basketball jerseys to be turned in. Please have
this done by the end of the week. Thank you! Girls Basketball
Coaching Staff
- There will
be a Spanish Travel meeting held during homeroom
on Thursday. Please have your final payment at this
meeting. Also, if you need another copy of any of the information
forms, or have any questions that you would like addressed, please
let Mrs. Morin know ahead of time.
- Congratulations
to the Knowledge Bowl team of Adam, Sam, Cody, Mike and Brian for placing
second at the sub-region Knowledge Bowl meet yesterday. Marshall placed
first. Please report to the library at 12:12 for a picture.
- There will
be a SADD officers meeting at noon in the
health room on Friday. Please try to be there or see Mrs. Plaetz or
Mr. Meyer for more information.
- In addition
to the regular library schedule, the library will be closed 2nd and 5th
hours on Friday and Monday.

- There will
be prom meeting everyday after school this week in Ms. Henningsen's
room.
- SCHOLARSHIP:
If you have a parent who is an active Police, Fire, or Emergency Service
person then you are eligible to apply for a scholarship from Minnesota
Electronic Security and Technology Association. Scholarships of $1000,
$750 and $500 are available. See
Mr. Thomas for details.
- The FARMERS
COOPERATIVE OIL COMPANY, ECHO, SCHOLARSHIP applications are now in Mr.
Thomas’s office. To be eligible you
must be a graduating senior, admitted to a community, technical or four
year college, planning to pursue an agriculture
related degree. See Mr. Thomas for
an application. Deadline is April 21.
- Spring
Sport sign-up sheets are outside Mr. Kemp’s office, please sign up asap!
- Application
blanks have been received for the Redwood Area Theatre Scholarship
program. To be eligible students
must have participated in some aspect of theatre, such as acting, playing
in the pit band, scenery, costumes, lights/sound etc. See Mr. Thomas for more details. Deadline April 7, 2010.
- For the
week of March 15th – Fastpitch
practice is for pitchers & catchers only.
