Pork Fundraiser February 19, 2008
Begin serving 5:30 and thru half time of the varsity BB game
(BBQ pork, or hotdogs, potato chip and juice $5.00)

Students were asked to bring pan of bars, uncut by 5:00 or before
Any more containers for selling leftovers? $5 per container

Evening of Entertainment April 12, 2008
Meal - DeVos Catering from Marshall will cater
Salad, Pork chop, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, vegetable, and dessert quoted - less expensive than last year
Locals - Looking to get 8 locals to perform as well
Gospel Express - Headliner group - vocal ensemble from Springfield performing gospel, pop, folk, etc.
Publicity - To advertise on school website, KLGR, Standard and sell tickets before March concerts
Shells
Raising funds to purchase 4 shells before June 30. School will assist with half of the funds.
Will ask area businesses and clubs to help defray costs, including Lucan and Wabasso Lions, Lucan and Integrity Bank. There may be area foundations as well.
Other discussion
Mary F made us aware that Commercial Club has a scholarship fund used to help students pay for "state" activities. This includes band/choir. This will be good to keep in mind for contest trips, etc.
SESM production of High School Musical is March 28-30 - the group wasn't sure if this would interest the Sr. High choir - will keep this type of an event in mind for future.
