Every 15 minutes someone dies of an alcohol related car accident. SADD reminds the students of Wabasso High School of this by having its annual ghost out.
Every 15 minutes the "grim reaper" will go around the school and announce that someone has died due to an alcohol related car accident.
The person representing an alcohol related death will leave the classroom and return dressed in black, they won't talk to anyone
except for the teachers for the rest of the day. It is a powerful reminder of how alcohol related accidents can affect the lives of teens.
Our annual ghost out takes place in November.
