Subject: Site Council
This school in Wabasso is unique in that it operates under the direction of Site Council rather than a Principal. The Site Council membership includes faculty, other school staff, and parents.
We need to identify some parents who wish to serve on the Site Council. If you would like to serve on the Site Council, please complete the form on the bottom of this page and return it to the school office. If you have questions about the Site Council, please contact me.
The Site Council meets monthly. The Site Council is divided into committees that also meet monthly. As a Site Council member, you will be asked to serve on one of those committees. Parent Site Council member terms are for three years.
The Site Council is responsible for making the kinds of decisions that guide the day-to-day operation of the school. Service on the Site Council is an excellent way for you as a parent to have a positive impact on the quality of the education program that serves your child. I hope you will give serious thought to volunteering for this position.
