  • Proper hand washing is procedure of choice


  • When soap and water are not available, use of hand sanitizers is recommended.  Sanitizer must contain a minimum of 60% alcohol.  Hand washing needs to occur as soon as possible.


  • Use hand lotions or creams to provide additional barrier and to help maintain skin integrity.
