Choir is for students who wish to further their aesthetic and musical development. Performance is regarded as a further educational experience for the student. Choir members will enjoy daily rehearsals with exciting music from all genres. It is important to note that the student will be learning and performing both sacred and secular music. Sacred music is an integral part of music history and an essential music-teaching tool.
The choir
performs three concerts during the year: Winter concert, Collage of Choirs
Concert, and the Pops Concert. The goal of the concert Choir is to develop fin
musicians who appreciate and perform a broad spectrum of music, in two
capacities: (1) as an ensemble member and (2) individually.
From surrounding school districts 120 students attended the Junior High Choral festival on March 5. including six of our Junior High Choir students :
